Art Butterfield is currently the Vice President of Leasing for Howard Group, a leading developer of upscale residential, retail and mixed-use projects including Silver Sands Factory Stores and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin®.

Mr. Butterfield earned both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in fine art from Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming and moved to NYC in 1986.

With a solid career of retail management to call upon including serving at Bloomingdale’s on Madison Ave., Lord & Talyor on Fifth Ave., Macy’s of Harold Square and finally as director of sales for FAO Schwartz on Fifth Ave., Mr. Butterfield accepted a position in Leasing with The Taubman Company. He has had over 10 years of leasing experience and, in addition to the Taubman Company, has held leasing positions with CBL and Westfield.

Mr. Butterfield moved to Destin from New Jersey in early 2007. He is a single father of two; his son Daniel and his daughter Rachel.
