Merlin Allan is the Vice President of Real Estate for Howard Group and is responsible for leasing premier, Class A office space in the company’s various properties, including Baytowne and Grand Boulevard at Sandestin®. He assists office tenants with full service leasing efforts from the initial planning process to actual construction and move-in. Mr. Allan is continuously working with local, national and international prospective office tenants in many different business sectors including medical, real estate, engineering, legal, insurance and banking.

Mr. Allan has been actively engaged in the real estate business for 35 years. After 20 years of living in Birmingham, AL, Mr. Allan and his family moved to Destin because of their love for the area and to be closer to his family and his roots in Panama City. Mr. Allan has been a real estate broker for 25 years in this immediate area and has served his community in various leadership positions, including the former president of both the Destin Area Chamber of Commerce and the Scenic Corridor Association. In addition, he is an avid boater, fisherman and hunter.
