Since joining Howard Group in 2011, Jay Howard has played a key role in the company’s development, leasing, and community engagement efforts. With deep roots in Destin and a lifelong connection to the family business, Jay has been immersed in real estate,development, and operations from an early age. His expertise spans commercial development, leasing, architectural oversight, government relations, construction and sustainable land management, ensuring projects are built to stand the test of time.
Jay is particularly passionate about working with local businesses, preserving native landscapes, and designing structures that compliment their surroundings. Whether overseeing design and construction or collaborating with state and local governments to enhance community infrastructure, he is committed to responsible growth and long-term impact.
Beyond his professional role, Jay remains actively involved in philanthropy, community initiatives, and environmental conservation. He serves on the Destin Parks Foundation board and works closely with local organizations to support responsible development and sustainability efforts.
