For the past 25 years, Marie Courtney has played a vital role on Howard Group’s accounting team, bringing both dedication and expertise to the company’s financial operations. Starting as a Staff Accountant in 2000, Marie has steadily moved up the ranks to her current role as Financial Controller. Marie’s contributions have been a big part of Howard Group’s continuing success.
Marie earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University. She handles a wide range of responsibilities, including monitoring internal controls, ensuring reporting compliance, identifying cost savings, budgeting, forecasting, and presenting financial reports. Beyond the numbers, Marie is committed to supporting and guiding her finance team. She takes pride in helping others, ensuring Howard Group is a positive, efficient, and productive workplace. Marie is a respected and trusted leader across the organization.
A big supporter of local charities like the Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center and Food for Thought, she’s passionate about giving back to the community she calls home.
